TIAM EVENTS – PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to TIAM Events, operated globally under two legal entities:

• UCAN Technology Solutions Inc. – governing users located in Canada and the United States.
• TIAM Connect FZCO – governing users in the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, European Union, and all other countries.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TIAM Events platform (“Platform”), websites, mobile apps, and services (“Services”), including the purchase, resale, and attendance of event tickets.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

2. DEFINITIONS

• “User” means anyone accessing or using the Services.
• “Organizer” means an event creator, promoter, or partner hosting an event on the Platform.
• “Attendee” or “Customer” means a ticket buyer or participant.
• “Ticket” means a digital credential granting access to an event.
• “Reseller” means a verified user authorized to resell tickets through the TIAM Resale Marketplace.
• “Event” means any concert, festival, conference, or other experience listed on the Platform.
• “We,” “Our,” “Us” refer collectively to TIAM Connect FZCO or UCAN Technology Solutions Inc., depending on your jurisdiction.

3. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT

• You must be at least 18 years old (or legal majority in your country) to use our Services.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, fraud, or misuse without prior notice.

4. OUR ROLE

TIAM Events operates as a ticketing and event-management technology platform.

• For Organizer-listed events, TIAM acts as a facilitator between Organizer and Attendee.
• For Resale-listed tickets, TIAM acts as an intermediary between the Seller and Buyer.

We are not the event host unless explicitly stated.

5. TICKET SALES & RESALE

5.1. Primary Ticketing

Organizers set ticket prices, availability, and refund policies. TIAM collects payments on behalf of Organizers and issues digital tickets upon confirmation.

5.2. Resale Marketplace

Registered users may resell verified tickets through our official resale system. All resale prices must comply with applicable laws and TIAM’s Fair Market Guidelines. Fraudulent resales, external resale attempts, or use of bots are strictly prohibited.

5.3. Refunds & Cancellations

• Refunds for cancelled or significantly altered events are issued in accordance with the Organizer’s policy and applicable consumer laws.
• If a refund is due, TIAM may deduct transaction or processing fees.
• No refunds will be issued for user error, change of mind, or missed events.

5.4. Service Fees

All purchases include service, processing, or payment gateway fees. These are non-refundable unless mandated by law.

6. EVENT ATTENDANCE & LIABILITY

• Admission may be subject to ID checks, security procedures, or health and safety requirements.
• TIAM and Organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove individuals for misconduct, intoxication, or policy violations.
• Attendance is at your own risk. TIAM and its partners are not responsible for personal injury, theft, or loss unless caused by proven negligence.
• Event content (artists, speakers, timing) is subject to change without liability.

7. CONTENT OWNERSHIP & LICENSING

• All TIAM trademarks, logos, UI design, and digital assets are owned or licensed by TIAM Connect FZCO / UCAN Technology Solutions Inc.
• Users may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without written consent.
• Organizers grant TIAM a non-exclusive license to host, display, and promote their event materials.

8. PROHIBITED USES

• Use automated bots to purchase or resell tickets.
• Circumvent platform security or payment systems.
• Misrepresent affiliation or impersonate others.
• Violate intellectual property rights of TIAM or third parties.
• Engage in any activity harmful to the Platform or other users.

9. PAYMENT, TAXES & CURRENCY

• Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Wise).
• Currency conversion rates may apply depending on user location.
• Users are responsible for applicable VAT, GST, or local taxes as required.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages;
• Loss of revenue, profit, or goodwill;
• Force majeure events (including strikes, natural disasters, or government actions).

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us within the preceding 12 months.

11. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TIAM, UCAN, their officers, employees, and partners from any claim, demand, loss, or damages arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms;
• Your misuse of the Platform;
• Your violation of laws or third-party rights.

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

• For users in Canada/USA, these Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and disputes are subject to the courts of Vancouver, BC.
• For all other users, these Terms are governed by the laws of Dubai, UAE, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai courts.
• You agree to attempt informal resolution before pursuing arbitration or litigation.

13. AMENDMENTS

We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last Updated” date reflects the effective version. Continued use of our Services after updates constitutes acceptance.
